Scentsy Independent Consultant in Houston Cassandra Baldovinos

In November of 2010, I had not heard of Scentsy at all. Even though reps seem to be everywhere! I think I might have seen a van with a big vinyl decal on the back window once and wondered what it was but that is it.

A friend of mine, that I chatted with often had posted something about Scentsy. She had just become a consultant. I looked at her website and was intrigued. The warmers were beautiful and I was very interested in the safer aspect of the “no wick candles”. I love candles and always have them burning. But, I have 5 little ones and was always having to keep an eye on the candles from curious hands.

My friend told me I should host a basket party. She told me about all the free Scentsy I could earn! Who doesn’t love free stuff? I didn’t think I could get enough orders to meet the minimum but I said, “Sure, I’ll give it a try”. I wanted to smell the scents before I chose one, so she sent me a little bag with mini-testers of all the scents. I was in scent heaven!! My party did amazingly well and I ended up getting  $250 worth of Scentsy for only $62.00! I was so excited when that big box came!! I tried it out that night and was hooked!

Since I did so well with the party and was so enthusiastic about the product, my consultant suggested that I sign up and sell Scentsy. At first I was hesitant because I’m not a sales person. She told me it sells itself. And, that it does. I signed up within a couple weeks and haven’t looked back! I figured if I made back the money I spent on the kit, I wouldn’t be out anything and had tons of wax to warm on my own. It is a fun experience introducing the Scentsy products to friends and family.

It has now become a family business! My husband helps on the web/marketing end, and my 5 kids love Scentsy delivery days and help separate and package up orders! I moved up to Star rank pretty quickly and now have a team of 14 under me all over the US and Canada. I love that Scentsy gives me the flexibility to spend time with my family as well as bring in some extra income. You can make it what you want.
